"Last Activity At" date/time not set correctly for Google Devices

I've started using @bertabcd1234 Device Activity Check to monitor my devices, and consistently one device shows up in the daily report - a Google Nest Hub Max in my Living Room.

However further investigation shows that DAC is simply reflecting the "Last Activity Date" of this device in the HE device pages. There, the LAD is shown as 2021-12-23 22:45:45 GMT. I also have another Google Nest Hub Max in my Office, with a LAD of 2022-01-04 11:15:46 GMT.

The Office device doesn't show up in the DAC report because I currently have it set to a 7 day threshold, but if I change this to 6 days it does. After more checking I also noticed that ALL my Google devices have a LAD that is incorrect in HE, with the discrepancy varying from a few hours behind to many weeks behind, as with my Living Room device.

Is there any reason why all the Google devices are not being updated? All devices are used several times, every day. I presume it's something to do with the link between Google Home and HE (I'm using the Google Home Community App from @mbudnek to connect them, and all seems OK). Clearly the LAD is getting updated sometimes, because some devices have a LAD of today, but from 4 or 5 hours ago (when I have used the device 10 minutes ago).

Has anyone else noticed this? It's not a big problem, because all the devices are working perfectly, so I'm just curious why there's a discrepancy. If it's expected behaviour, I'll just remove these devices from the DAC report to reduce false negatives.

Thanks!

That would be my suggestion. I mostly use DAC to report on the state of battery devices or devices that can have connection issues (Xiaomi/Aqara sensors, Ikea outlets), so I know when the device needs attention. I don't use it on C2C paired devices (Ecobee, Echo, Google home, etc), since I expect those services to always work.
