Kwikset 888. Please help

I think it is connected to my HE but I don’t know how to control it.

Zwave or Zigbee? If Zwave try using the Generic Zwave Lock driver.

That is what i used. I named it. I see it on my dashboard but no controls are there

It could be that it did not pair fully. On my C-5, I had to have the lock and the hub very close (almost on top of each other) before it paired completely and could be controlled from HE. If possible, bring the lock mechanism closer to the hub (or take the hub closer to the lock), unpair and pair again. Give it a few minutes after pairing before trying to control it from HE.

Hmm.. I have a Kwikset 888 and it is paired with Hubitat. I can control is from Hubitat and also change/add/delete codes. It looks like your lock is not paired "securely" and while it will show up, you will not be able to operate it from Hubitat. It took me a couple of tries to get it to pair properly but it works well. Don’t see anything under Current States on the Device page, can you hit Configure to see if that populates that? Also can you post a screenshot of your ZWaves Details page?

@Kent_NOLA - also, please post a picture of the "Device Details" from the device page for the lock. If it does not show "zwaveSecurePairingComplete: True" in the data section, it means that your device pairing is incomplete and you may need to follow the steps outlined in the link above.
