My power meter at the new place has a Zigbee symbol and related articles on here are old. Is there anything I can use this for in my system, like monitor draw from inside the house, etc?

Check with your electricity provider for supported devices. Mine is PG&E, and they support access to the SmartMeter’s HAN (ZigBee) for local access.

I use one of these to get the data, since it’s on the certified list for PGE

If that device hardware/bridge works for your electricity supplier, then you can use this Driver to get the data into Hubitat:
