Using a C8 I've discovered my three Konnected modules stay Offline. I attempted to install the new HPM Konnected integration to fix this, but the integration package doesn't show up in Apps like Tapo and others do. What am I missing here. I'm relatively sure the devices were working after my 7 to 8 upgrade. What do I need to do get my perimeter security system working again?
Sounds like this is an app (not driver)... If true, then after downloading the app via HPM, did you Add it here?
Pretty sure the konnected integrations are all drivers not apps.
I stupidly hadn't done this. But now that I did, it still doesn't show up in Apps. But the Konnect service manager does come up in this process. When I ask it to search for devices it finds nothing. Then I close the Service Manage, look in the Apps and nothing Konnect is there like Kasa or other integrations. At least you got me where I can open the service manager tough. So thank you for that!
Now I need to see why my boards aren't being found. Hubitat has a nasty habit of having things work for a long time, then they change something and it all goes south. Really annoying especially when you're on vacation and discover your alarm integration isn't working and have to wait until you get back home to get your hands on the hardware. VERY annoying.
Did you know that Hubitat package manager installs driver and app code onto your hub? It does not install an active instance of an app or create any devices for you.
As Chris mentioned, you still need to take additional steps to install an app or use a driver for which HPM pulled the code down to your hub.
Thatโs strange. Hub updates have to be requested manually by the user, and youโre probably not updating your hub while on vacation?
I put this aside and then came back to it because it still isn't working. But I do have more information.
When I look at the three alarm panel Events Tab in Hubitat I see this message...
"networkStatus offline Alarm Panel 69BB50 is offline: Connection refused (Connection refused)"
If I look at my router I see that all three panels are connected via wireless with no problems. When I go to my PC and type in the IP addresses, it connects immediately to them and I can control them and see the log information. I can even restart them from that page and see the units read the logs as they come back online.
I can look at the Konnected App on my phone and they are all there too. I was even able to update the firmware on all three of them. Seemingly they are communicating fine within my network.
At this point Hubitat is seeing no input from the child devices under the alarm panels. I assume because the Panels are in a "Network Status Offline" state as indicated above.
What should I do to get the panels back "online" with Hubitat? At this point I have no perimeter security system in my home. Which is the most important function of the Hubitat product for me.
Any additional help would be greatly appreciated!
