Keep bird nests out of my front porch ceiling fans

I searched but nothing came up. I'd like to automatically turn on and keep on (if someone tries to turn off) my front porch ceiling fans for just part of the year, maybe March through July?. Birds made nests on them this year. I let them hatch and fly away lol but in the future I'd like to run the ceiling fans on low during bird nest-making season, whenever that is. Figured I'd check here in case anyone has had to deal with this already. Otherwise I'll hack through it and figure out how to make it work.

I had the same issue this spring. Manually turned it on for a couple days and they lost interest.

I wonder if you could mount a motion sensor somewhere above the blades pointing up to trigger it?

Maybe turn it on for a few seconds every hour in the Spring?
