I am very new to HE. I am trying to control an ES20M Kasa using HE. I would like to use the motion sensor as a trigger to turn on or off other circuits in my home. I have tried following the instructions provided in the forums, but I am still having trouble getting it to work properly.
Could someone please help me with this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing back from the community.

The ES20M motion sensor is internal to the physical device (not exposed on the wifi interface). You can trigger follow-on actions by the the changes in the attribute switch.
Thank you very much. I am planning to buy similar devices with integrated motion sensor. Do you know of any device that has independent control. Right now I have the Smart Control Tab habilitated on the Kasa App. I would like to use the motion sensor as a trigger without affecting its own load.

I have looked several times but have not found a message from the motion detecting switch that reflects the motion detection. This is a general consensus. I will be able to play with it more this summer (after I get something personal done). But, I do not hold out any hope based on detailed discussions on gitHub.
Jasco has Z-Wave Plus dimmers and switches that permit this. You'll have to use a community driver by @JasonJoel.
I have 2 of these, they're nice and have been working well over the last year.
Got 1 false alarm in over 1 year of use. Of course it was 3AM when HSM alerted us, and have no idea what set it off. Spider ? disembodied spirit?
Snagged a killer deal on Ebay 21.50 a year ago for the dimmer.
And yes you can use the motion sensor in RM. Plus the device has a light/dark sensor, but I don't see illuminance reported.
