Just Got A Zigbee ThirdReality Indoor Temp/Humidity Sensor

It's just like the AcuRite standalone things I have scattered around the house, only three times the cost. Still a bargain though.

I like the shape, the display is clear, it paired easily.
It has a lot of promise, although, really, I probably won't use it that much, just like the AcuRites.

What I'd like is a similar cost effective indoor/outdoor temperature/humidity sensor with display. I use my AcuRite local unit a lot. @ThirdReality ?

The unit i wrote the driver with literally eats batteries for breakfast...

Is that the generic zigbee temerature/humidity sensor?

Whatever it joins with, maybe i just tested and updated the fingerprint... It was a while ago...

Yeah, that's what it joined with.
Maybe I'll discontinue the freezer test, lol.

Na, try it mine could have crap firmware on it....

I've had one I got from Amazon on my C-7 since end of October and the it still show 100% (on the 2 AAAs). It got the "Generic Zigbee Temerature/Humidity Sensor" driver when it joined. The Temp and Humidity reporting intervals are the default.

Looks like another chatty device that can't be configured....

It works okay in my basement, but temp/humidity change slow there.

It actually do work really well, this device is 80 feet away from my hub in a greenhouse. Just wish we could change the reporting frequency. If it's like their Gen 2 Outlet, then we probably can't. I seen over in another thread that they were unable to change the reporting.
