I have a C7 in my barn (running 2.4.2.158), with 7 devices connected to it. The C7 is connected to a Flex Mini switch powered by a Unifi Device bridge which is meshed to the AP in the house. I have the C7 meshed to a C8 pro in the house. I have been using this for a couple months with no issues. Last night I noticed that the devices in the barn were all offline. This morning after investigating I found that the C7 was not listed in my routers client list. All other devices connected to the Flex Mini switch (AP, Camera and a Mac) were working as expected. I could not bring up the C7 UI in my browser.
The C7 had a green light and seemed to be working, but was not connected to my network. I cycled power on the C7 and now all is OK. I checked the logs and at 2:03pm yesterday is when it quit working. I have the C7 on a battery backup so I don't think it lost power and for the life of me I can't figure what happened. Any insight?
what are you using to power the c7.. the std adapter or something else?
also if you just pulled power on the c7 it could cause corruption .. do a reboot with advanced checked and rebuild database
