I updated two days ago to the latest Hue hub version. I use Cocohue integration with Hubitat. After the update I had a problem with hue lights in my living room going dim and eventually turning off. I couldn’t figure out what triggered it but it was annoying. Initially I thought it might be adaptive lighting coming from my homebridge integration (because I also updated that) but I ruled that out. In the logs I could see that the lights were being set to lower dim percentages but I couldn’t figure out what was causing it. I eventually disabled the Cocohue integration to rule out Hubitat and homebridge. The problem continued, I eventually found it… the update to the Hue hub arbitrarily decided that my Hue motion sensor in the bathroom vanity needed to control something so it assigned it to control the living room lights. When my wife would go into the vanity, about 15 minutes after that, is when the living room would slowly start shutting off (just the Hue lights). I eventually found it buried in the motion sensor on the Hue app and figured out how to disable it…. Problem solved.
