I have both Sonoff and Centralite temp/humidity sensors. Neither seem to report humidity changes. I changed the Sonoff over to Markus's driver and enabled absolute humidity and that seems to report. I can't figure why these things won't report humidity.
I used a Sonoff only briefly because it would only report in 5-minute intervals (too big of a window for timely catching a bath-fan trigger), but it otherwise reported humidity fine for me overall.
I'm now using a NYCE sensor instead -- more reporting-config options and very fast.
This doesn't feel like a device problem. I don't know what to think but I find it odd that two VERY different brands are doing the same thing.
How's your ZB mesh? Batteries certain to be OK? Worn batteries or mesh issues are good first places to check when events start missing.
I really don't know how to check the mesh. You can't go 10 feet in my house without being next to a repeater. Batteries should be ok.
It's odd that it is just the humidity that's missing. Like the driver corrupts or something. Innitial pairing returns humidity levels but than nothing.
Absolute humidity is still working on the Sonoff as of right now. But nothing in l humidity percent.
I have 2 Centralite temp/humidity sensors and they are both reporting humidity. You might try resetting them by removing the battery, holding internal button while reinserting the battery. Then launch device pairing and it will pair back in place.
