Issue with beta chromecast

i know it beta and it might be my fault but i keep having issue with speaker not working

in order to get it back i have to go into device ans hit play or keep hitting buttons untill it comes back

to clear this up I have to go to devices > speaker > and click "initialize" volume can be adjusted but will will NOT speak until i do that

I have a similar issue and found that I need to adjust the volume as the first action in my rule to ensure that I hear the announcements with beta Chromecast.

Interestingly, before I did that it would speak all my previously sent announcements together after a volume change. It’s like it keeps them in a buffer, waiting for something...
