Issue adding iPhone to Hubitat Error “Registering Mobile Device”

Hello, I have recently replaced my iPhone and after getting the new one I attempted to add the new phone iPhone 16 (26.1) I get stuck with message “Registering Mobile Device” and freezes there.

I have tried:

  • Closing the app and restarting the procedure (same outcome)
  • Restarting my phone and trying again
  • Downloading old Hubitat iOS app and same problem there
  • Deleting both Hubitat apps and redownloading re-signing in and same problem

I saw a few posts with some of these recommendations and no luck.

Any other ideas?

Is the phone connected to the same network as the hub?
I could not reproduce the issue, now trying to narrow down the scenarios it occurs under.

Yes, they are both on the same network.

Thanks for your feedback. The issue was identified and a fix is pending in the next app update.
