iSmartAlarm integration?

iSmartAlarm went out of business. None of the gear works the way I need it to any more since their 'cloud' platform is different/broken. Does anyone know of a way to integrate iSmartAlarm products into HE? I don't think the contact sensors or keypads are zwave. I'd be open to creative solutions, including needing some kind of raspberry pi bridge.

Thanks for the heads up. I’m surprised they lasted as long as they did. I’m unplugging my system now, which I wasn’t using anymore, but was still using a Spot camera, which will now be unplugged until I have time to flash it with Defang. Did not realize this had occurred because of being home all the time now, I hadn’t logged into the camera. No need for it.

I asked about an integration long ago. No one responded. Way too unpopular to bother with I guess. It’s all e-waste now except for the Spot cameras that can be flashed. Unless you want to use this third party service for a year.

I replaced mine with Ring a year ago and I’ve been very happy. The unofficial integration works well with it, is local and has continued to work. Should they ever stop selling it ( Highly unlikely), then I can still use the sensors and Keypad with my C7s because they’re all compatible Z-Wave components.

Having said all that, we rarely set the Ring anymore because we’re home all the time. :man_shrugging:t3:

I am also interested. Ismartalarm was actually the reason I bought hubitat. I wanted something robust to replace it after the outages in the summer of 2020. I didnt manage to install the fang hacks yet. I tried : GitHub - EliasKotlyar/Xiaomi-Dafang-Hacks

But that one doesnt seem to work with my Spot +. I will have to try : GitHub - samtap/fang-hacks: Collection of modifications for the XiaoFang WiFi Camera
( I am not sure yet how to format the sd card properly)

I am waiting for someone to hack this thing to repurpose the pir sensors and the sirens. Sensors I already changed for the Aqara ones.

the sensors and fobs are RF 866Mhz btw, no zwave or zigbee I think

I have used the samtap fang hack and this seems to get me a working rtsp stream for my NVR. Perfect. Only no motion detection or AI stuff.

Time is drawing to an end for the ISmartAlarm system, unless something is done to rescue the program speedily. What a shame that it will go down the drain by Jan 1st 2022! Unless something is done to prolong and re-establish the system services and upgrade it to meet market standards, the service program will be lost forever! In September 2020 I purchased and installed $900 worth of ISmartAlarm system equipment in my house and everything worked perfectly well to my satisfaction. All we need now is the extension of the services to include telephone, email and text messages, accessory services we had before the announcement of service termination. and product performance and consumer satisfaction will be restored. I strongly recommend that all users of ISmartAlarm persuade MeShare-ISmartAlarm to charge an annual service fee for maintaining the continual use of the alarm service including the telephone, email and text service as before. Special provisions should be made for updating, debugging and developing the system as well. Let’s make an effort, now, to prolong and retain the use of the system by upgrading and restoring the previous services and by accepting an annual fee charged by the company in return.
