I have one Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave thermostat that is not updating it's humidity reading (in Habitat and on the device itself). It is stuck on 25% and never changes while I know that the humidity is closer to 40% in that room.
Is the firmware updateable? I tried the Device Firmware Updater app, but just get "Device did not respond to firmware metadata request" if I select any T6 Pro thermostat device.
This is unlikely to be a z-wave firmware issue. I'm also unaware of any firmware updates being available for that thermostat - but I could be mistaken about that.
How is that thermostat powered?
Also, have you considered excluding the thermostat and factory resetting it? And then determine whether the thermostat responds to changes in relative humidity before including it?
I tried to get an update on my T6 pro (Zigbee). The furthest I got was the thermostat would have to be connected to their network. So it appears only the WiFi versions will/ can get updated firmware.
And who knows, perhaps there is no updated firmware as it seems Zigbee is a legacy system at Resideo .
Radio is Z-Wave not Zigbee but the same response from Resideo when I tried to get an update.
