IS bigger better when it comes to rules

As I bring automations over to Hubitat is any guidance on having a lot of small rules versus a large Rule. Would they be more efficient/faster than a large rule for a lot of actions in motion lighting, simple automation and Webcore?

In general the consensus is lots of small rules are better than a few big rules.

The smaller apps will be better to use over rule machine. Use simple automation and motion lighting where you can over Rule Machine.

There is a youtube video on the KISS method of rule machine that is helpful as well. In case you missed it! Learn about the KISS Threshold

Hubitat has a good videos on rules on YouTube. I use small rules for easy debugging

@Hasty1 Can I please know why simple lighting is better when possible?

I am fine doing it but I would like to know the benefits first

The way is was described to me, is that apps have to execute their code to run. RM is much larger in terms of lines of code than SA or Motion Lighting.
