The Iris v2 motion/temperature sensor can be set to notify with various temperature changes, ranging from 0.25 C to 5 C change, or based on time, from every 5 minutes to every hour.
Do those settings really work? I’ve adjusted the setting to every 0.25 C change, with no apparent change in the reporting frequency. I also adjusted the setting to every 5 minutes, and that doesn’t appear to make any difference either.
The sensors do work, that is they report every so often, but when I set them to more frequent reporting, the reporting does not seem to change.
This is not with only a single sensor, but with several different sensors.
What driver are you using? I have a number of these and I don't have a time reporting interval listed, just temp change. I'm using the "Generic Zigbee Motion Sensor" driver.
I think this is something the generic zigbee motion sensor driver makes available when a sensor reports temperature, whether or not that specific model is able to accept a change to the frequency of temp reporting.
