When adding the Iris V1 range extender i can not get past the "Found Device" initializing stage. It just sits there!
Do I even need the range extender?

Range extender is not supported.
Lowes didn't like their own V1 extenders. At one point they sent me, free of charge, gen 2 outlets for free to replace each extender I had. Gen 2 outlets repeat both zigbee and z-wave and is supported by HE.
Any chance this has changed? I have 3 of these I hate to just toss.
Nope, not going to support it for two reasons, it never worked properly in the first place, and it's been how long since the last one rolled off the assembly line?
