I have two Iris 4 button fobs that I am hoping to use for door locking lights etc. they paired fine initially but after that I did not have a chance to implement them. I noticed today that they haven't reported as present or acknowledged a button press since 8/26. They are definately present and I pushed the buttons and no events were logged.
Are the batteries dead?
The key lights up red when pushed and battery status was< reported as 100%
I might try a battery pull on it, perhaps it's associated with an unresponsive parent.
Could you post the key fob model or a picture? I have 4 key fobs with the 4 buttons but they have no red lights, I have one in my hand now.
I remember I had the same issue as you, but after I pressed a button it worked and never dropped again.
Tried the battery pull and it is still no recognized.
I don't have the Fob in front of me but it is essentially that one. When you press one of the buttons does it not light up red under the buttons?
My Fob here lights up green with button push.
If I am not mistaken I was confused by this because I believe I saw one at my brothers house light up red when the button push. (I could be wrong on this one)
Have you tried a reset and repair?
Mine doesn't turn on any lights but it works, you should try to exclude and include them, they are zigbee so the process should be quick and easy.
Did a remove, then factory reset and reincluded. Seems to be working now.
I wish I knew what caused them to un pair.
