I recently updated my hubitat dashboard ipad from an older ipad air running 12.5.7 to a later gen 8 iPad running 17.5.1 and have noticed that the status bar is now white instead of matching the colour of the dashboard. I am not sure how long this has been an issue as it was always black on my older iPad air. guessing it is something to do with the safari css / webkit / meta build for the website? If there is something that I can do in iOS or on the hubitat settings Id love to know. But if this is a dev thing, it would be lovely if the status bar matched the dashboard background colour.
@bobbyD@gopher.ny, I’ve had this topic live for a few weeks now and even tried to get some traction on the Facebook group. I am wondering whether you guys have a) received this ticket and b) is there a plan to resolve it with an update?
I deployed the 2.3.9.160 with bated breath even though the patch notes did not indicate a fix to the above...I checked, then I unbated my breath...sigh. maybe 2.3.9.161....
@bobbyD@gopher.ny it’s been a few updates now (7) and still with no fix to this issue. Rather than me being a squeaky wheel on the community forum. Can you advise if this is something you guys plan to address or do I have to drag out my old unsupported tablet again? I get that you probably have 1000’s of issues to deal with and some are a lot more pressing than others. But without any other messaging service I am unsure of how else I am to follow up on issues. Appreciate the platform and the community muchly and this minor inconvenience really doesn’t change that fact.
If anyone else is experiencing this problem I have found a "temporary" solution using the app Kiosk Pro, you can disable the status bar and hide the annoying white colour. I am sure Hubitat will at some point in the future fix this correctly. I ended up paying a one off cost for the Kiosk Pro Basic so that I didn't have to see their small watermark branding at the bottom.
I dont have a solution for you. However do you mind telling me about the weather tile you have on the top row, right, of your dashboard? Is that an openweather API or something else? I'm new and like yours
Been meaning to get back into that stuff (BoM weather data)... used that driver early on in my HE journey.... Also lead to me being interested in getting the radar images on my dashboards..... Would love to get back to setting up dashboards with all the weather info we have access to...
My guess would be @jjjjjc130 is not a local.... based on the time difference...
I have toyed with a few other weather sites / tiles in the past, I'm pretty sure you will be able to find a popular one that suits your needs @jjjjjc130.
True, I am not local to Australia. I wish. I do have a weather tile that I use (7 day forecast jpg, updated hourly by the source), however the one OP has looks so good, simple, clean.
