IP vs. IP:port speed difference in UI

Hey all

I find that my hub's UI takes a long time to load when I address just the IP (http://192.168.x.x). When I use the port in addition (http://192.168.x.x:8080/) it's basically immediate.

This happens from both wireless AP and fixed access. Any idea what could cause this? I have a pretty plain network, no routing/switching rules etc.
