Device support request for Intermatic Ascend STW700W. Assuming this device is not currently (directly) supported by Hubitat. It does support Google & Alexa integrations. Does anybody have a workaround for Hubitat control/connectivity for this device? Would be great if this device gets supported (preferably at the "local" level) - they are quite useful for higher amperage requirements.

It isn't and it is unlikely that it will be - since there is no published cloud or local API to access it.
There are plenty of z-wave and at least one zigbee switch that are already compatible with Hubitat, which support the 15A load that this Intermatic switch does. In addition, Hubitat provides the smarts that make these existing compatible switches do everything that the STW700W does and more, including:
- Multiple schedules (far in excess of the 42 supported by the STW700W)
- Automatic correction for daylight savings time
- Astronomic ON/OFF at Dusk/Dawn
- Single-pole or three-way function
- Notification of timed events being triggered
