Installing smartlife app into hubitat

For plugs, all you really need is a Samsung account, and the SmartThings app on your phone to set things up.

I came here from SmartThings, when Samsung killed the Groovy cloud. In the SmartThings app, you can add SmartLife as a "Linked Service", and then it will pull in all your plugs and switches and make them SmartThings devices. I hated it at the time because it would not pull in dimmers or anything more complex, but it it was great for outlets and switches.

So, there is a Hubitat community app called HubiThings Replica:

After you install that app, you go into the settings for it to link it to your SmartThings account. Then you can authorize from the list of devices it pulls in from SmartThings, which ones you want to become Hubitat devices.

The result is a Hubitat device, linked through the cloud to SmartThings servers, linked through the cloud to Tuya Servers, linked through the cloud back to your local device and Hubitat hub. But it works.
