Inovelli NZW30 Switch Pairing Issues

I am having an issue with an Inovelli NZW30. I had this running on ST perfectly fine. Today, since I wanted to migrate it to Hubitat, I excluded it from ST and that completed successfully.

I immediately paired it with Hubitat. I went into discovery mode, it found the switch and paired it.

Then I discovered that I needed to install the device drivers first.

So I installed the device drivers for all my Inovelli devices via the package manager. I looked and it still didn't recognize the switch which I wasn't holding my breath for. So I excluded the switch in Hubitat. It didn't work so I "forced" it to exclude. It was no longer in my device list.

Then I went to rediscover devices and it wouldn't find it. I went to the Inovelli site to make sure that I was doing it properly. I even did a factory reset by holding in the up button for 5 seconds (didn't work) then turning off the breaker and turning it back on while holding the up button for 5 seconds. Still doesn't find it.

I was going to ask in the Inovelli forums, but I'm pretty sure that this is a Hubitat question since it did find the same hardware once and the exclude didn't work properly.

I'm hoping someone in here has some advice that will help.....

UPDATE: I got an answer on this via a FB group. I needed to use this instruction to reset the switch which says to hit the up paddle 10X:

I was using this one which says to hold the up paddle while restoring breaker power:

That didn't work.....

@ericm ... Looks like a documentation adjustment might be needed? Curious that the two procedures are so different.

Yeah, that is strange. I don't know why the z-wave alliance manual states the 10x method. I've never used that if it is even possible.

@karaokeamerica For that device you can try holding the button for > 5 seconds while flipping the breaker. Maybe try 10+ seconds to be sure.

Also, with that device you can do a z-wave exclusion on it to factory reset it. It doesn't have to be part of the z-wave network to do this. Put the hub into exclusion mode and do the inclusion / exclusion button procedure on the switch.

Appreciate the info, but it's working now. I'm not going to re-break it to try a new way! lol

As an FYI: I tried the procedure as explained in your manual for at least 5 seconds:

Turn the power on to your switch while holding up for 5 seconds
