Inovelli Blue switch/dimmers randomly turn OFF and ON (few seconds)

I have about 50 Inovelli Blue switch/dimmers. Some of them randomly turn OFF and then ON a few seconds later. No rule is triggering. The log of one unit that did this a few minutes ago shows this:

dev:422025-11-09 07:05:12.700 PMwarn
Entryway Lights Main Dimmer IB BASIC_CLUSTER Unknown Attribute:null
dev:422025-11-09 07:05:11.644 PMwarn
Entryway Lights Main Dimmer IB BASIC_CLUSTER Unknown Attribute:null

There are no corresponding Events for this device at the time the cycle happened. No other lights, including on the same circuit, are affected when this happens. I have Alexa, but hunches are disabled.

Any clues as to what might be causing this?

I haven't seen that behavior from any of my 8 Blue 2-1s, but @Sebastien is currently having some odd power issues with his Blue On/Offs (though that is issue could very well be [and perhaps likely is] unrelated).

What firmware are your 2-1s on? (2.18 is latest prod) Using Inovelli's driver? (2025-10-01 is latest prod)

Software build is 01020212, FW version is 2.18, driver date is 2025-10-01.

When I've been able to catch an OFF-ON event, I've seen the LED bar briefly turn yellow (a color I don't use for indicators), and it may have been flashing as well.

In my case, one of my on/off switches was crashing and bringing down the whole zigbee mesh with it. So when that switch crashed, all others did as well. I was able to trigger the crash by initiating a Zigbee pairing on any of my hubs.

To uncover the culprit, I first pulled the air gap tab from all of them, then initiated pairing. I then pushed the tab from one of the switches, re-started a few pairing actions, then repeated…

What I found though is that the problematic switch didn’t always crash at first… I usually had to do a few pairing start actions, and wait a bit before it got triggered. Since I found the problematic switch, none of them have rebooted.

Here’s what it looked like when the crash happened:

I’m going to be updating the firmware on the switch as soon as I can to see if that resolves the issue.

UPDATE: Since I loaded up the 3.04 firmware a few weeks ago, this spontaneous and random "OFF then ON" problem has gone away, along with "pulsing" standard LED light bulbs when dimming. I'm happy and the WAF is high!
