INNR Plugs with Philips Hue bridge not connecting

I have some INNR Plugs that are connected through my Philips hue bridge. They work perfectly withing the Philips Hue app directly and Hubitat shows them in the select list as "Select additional Hue Lights to add (4 available)". I have 4 plugs and it shows all four names in this. I check them all and click ”done” but it never adds them. I did a soft reset and checked all my Hue lights to add and it add them all except these 4 again.

Does anyone have any idea why these won't get added to my device list? I can try to add them directly to Hubitat via zigbee and not go through the Hue bridge, but for what I'm setting up, I would prefer to keep them on the Hue Bridge and access them that way if possible.

Tagging @bertabcd1234 as he is one of the experts with regards to Hue Bridge Integrations with Hubitat.

What I am not sure of is whether or not you need to add a new, separate Hue Bridge Integration app for each Hue bridge... Or if Hubitat's built-in integration can simply add a second Hue bridge to the same app? Perhaps this is where things are going sideways?

I only have one Hue bridge connected to my Hubitat hub....but I know others have multiple Hue bridges connected, so it is possible.

You do need to add a separate instance of the app/integration, and that should work. I have not tested this recently to see if this has, though I don't think anything has changed recently, so I can't imagine why it wouldn't. I'm not sure if that is what the OP is doing, but it sounds like it? Just to be clear, you have to go to Add Built-In App again and add another instance of the app (you shouldn't do anything with the other bridges listed in your existing app).

I could test this by setting up my test Hue Bridge if needed -- well, that and the built-in integration since I use my own these days.

I am hooking up a spare Hue bridge that I have. Once Hue finishes updating it, and I get a spare Hue bulb paired to it, I will try adding a second Hubitat built-in Hue Bridge Integration app to my hub to test if it works like like we expect it should.

Thank you for responding, I apologize because I actually changed the title and issue because I was able to solve it and there were no responses yet as I was editing.

I was able to resolve by soft resetting the hub. I did everything exactly the same so I'm not sure what the hang up was the first time around. I tried deleting all the Hue hubs off and then adding them again and that didn't work either. The reset worked and I was able to add all devices on both bridges except for the INNR Plugs I have. As I had posted, they work perfectly within 5he Hue ecosystem, and Hubitat sees them, but I still can't add them. Any ideas on this issue?

Thank you ogiewon! I was able to get it to work with a reset. I used the same method both times. So not sure why it worked the second time around. I have an additional issue now though regarding INNR Plugs through hue.

The Hubitat built-in Hue Bridge integration only supports Bulbs and Groups. I do not believe it supports outlets.

You may want to try CoCoHue, by @bertabcd1234, as it may support more device types connected directly to the Hue bridge versus what Hubitat supports.

Thank you @ogiewon and @bertabcd1234. I didn't realize that the Hue Integration app doesn't support plugs. Pretty new to the Hubitat service so that is good to know. I don't have Hue branded plugs so I assumed it was an issue with the off brand. I'll probably try connecting them directly to Hubitat as a zigbee plug so I can continue to test out the Hue app and see how it works, but I'm sure I'll dive into the CoCoHue app at some point in the future as well to compare how it works. Appreciate the quick responses.

One of the very nice features of CoCoHue, is that it can support instant status updates from the Hue bridge to the Hubitat Hub. This way, if you change a bulb using the Hue Mobile Phone App, or some other system, the status will update quickly within Hubitat.

Using Hubitat's built-in Hue bridge integration, you will need to wait until it polls the Hue bridge before the status will change (when a Hue bridge connected device is acted upon outside of Hubitat's direct control.)
