Just got some Innr bulbs (white) and using them in a simple Room Lighting automation. However I have noticed if you issue a "Set Level" command the bulb turns on what looks to be about 50% then to the % you actually set (say 99). It makes it seem as if the bulb is responding slowly to being turned on by the setlevel command. However from the driver page if I do a simple on/off it responds very quickly and does not do the odd dim up effect. Anyone else see this with these? Is there a driver or correction for it? Best I could find was in an old closed thread:
After more playing, if you set the driver for these to Advanced Zigbee Bulb and hit save, then adjust the following as shown: (Level transition time and on transition time)
Then hit save, then hit configure. These then work as I expected above. They just come on to the correct level right away without coming on to a different dim state first.
You could also use them on a Hue bridge. The Advanced Zigbee driver seems to work better than the Generic for bulbs that are compatible. I noticed that the Advanced driver is more responsive than the Generic. I’m thinking that the Generic driver issues an “on” command prior to the “setlevel” command and the Advanced Driver only issues the “setlevel” command.
