Initializing Hub: 65% - starting UPNP .... STUCK

updated hubs time zone and rebooted as advised after updating time zone now the hub is stuck at "Initializing Hub: 65% - starting UPNP"

have done a soft reset and also a database restore yet nothing seems to allow it past "Initializing Hub: 65% - starting UPNP" can any staff advice please? @bobbyD @Hubitat_Staff @bravenel

How long did you let it go for?

over an hour!

it loads if i do a soft reset but if i restore the database then it doesn't go past 65% and always hangs on UPNP

That is indeed strange. They will likely have to look at your engineering logs.

How far back were you going on your restore?

iv'e had no problems with it for a long time now... uk summertime begins today so i changed the timezone because it never does it on its own and boom... Broken it! typical

i've tried all my backups and am now currently trying my oldest one of nearly a month ago if this doesn't work then i think i'm screwed...

I'd wait till @support_team gets back to you.

i even get this message after every restore yet it still hangs at 65%

last chance backup seems to have worked... now i've just gotta work out what went wrong and re-do all the changes of this month... Phew...

I would also subscribe to hub protect so you can get your z-wave radio backed up to the cloud as well if this unit is on it's way out you can get a replacement and the restore the radio.

i didn't think that the device backup was possible when you are using the c-5 hub with the external z-wave usb dongle in the uk? correct me if i'm wrong though and i will upgrade the subscription right now... :+1:t3:

Oh... Didn't realize that was your setup. Certain dongles can be backed up. I would hit up @bobbyd before you subscribe to anything... (or upgrade to a c8 and get both zigbee and z-wave backed up)
