IFTTT integration with Hubitat

I just installed the IFTTT integration app on my Hubitat device and I went to IFTTT to connect to the Hubitat service, and IFTTT is saying it cannot connect to the service. Is anyone else experiencing issues with IFTTT?

The IFTTT App on your Hubitat Hub is installed automagically when you go through IFTTT to add the Hubitat service. No need to pre-install the IFTTT App on your hub.

Also, your hub needs to show up in portal.hubitat.com for the IFTTT integration to be able to find it.

My Hub does show up in portal.hubitat.com. Everything is fine on the hub side. It is when I try to connect to the Hubitat service on IFTTT that IFTTT says it cannot connect to the service.

I will uninstall the app on my hub then try it just from IFTTT.

So this is what happens:

On IFTTT, I search for Hubitat under services.
I click connect
It asks me which hub I want to allow access.
It shows my hub and I select it
Then after a pause a red bar drops down and displays: Could not connect service.

I would recommend you reach out to Hubitat Support at support@hubitat.com. I can't think of any reason why it would not connect.

Are you able to use a cloud dashboard when away from home (i.e. not connected to your home LAN)? Do you have Amazon Alexa or Google Home integrated? Do they still work? I am trying to help figure out if all cloud-connectivity is broken, or just IFTTT...

Also, you may want to try rebooting your Hubitat Hub via the Settings menu, and then try adding the Hubitat Service on IFTTT again.

Things must have been fixed. I am able to connect to the service now
