I can't get my hub to update?

It just hangs at 1%. Made it to 2% once and 12% another time, but pretty much stuck at 1% most tries. I did all the obvious, reboots, different browsers, different PC. Any way to do a manual download and install?

UPDATE: I rebooted my router and the update succeeded. So odd. I had internet on both PCs I used and I could see on the router that HE started the download then just stopped every time. AC-5300 reboot fixed it.

"Reboot Router" would have been 10,000th on my list of things to try. :frowning:

So I was going to start a new thread about this exact problem but figured I would do a forum search first to see if anyone else has reported this problem.

I own an original HE with the USB dongle. No issues updating and works awesome for months.

I recently purchased a HE latest c5 version to use at my rental property. I have fiber internet right ti my house with 60 down and 60 up. Tested to work perfect but once I plugged in the HE it showed an update was available but exact same issues as the original poster. It keeps hanging on the download. First time was 1% then 2% and third time was about 18%. I powered off the hub, rebooted it. No matter what same thing. Was really getting annoying. I had done nothing to the hub but take it out of the box and try updating the firmware! So after seeing this I didn’t think to reboot the router as internet was working fine. I took it home and figured I’d try and update here which I have not tried yet. But I will tomorrow. Just don’t understand.

Sounds like your C5 hub’s NIC is having trouble with the network. This is a known issue. Please reach out to support@hubitat.com so they can help apply the autonegotiation fix.
