Humidity Sensor for UK

I'm after recommendations for a Humidity Sensor that reports changes to the humidity fairly quickly.

I want to turn on / off a bathroom extractor fan, but the problem I am having is the ones I have tried seem very slow to update.

I have tried the Switchbot meter and the Sonoff SNZB-02.

Alternatively is there anything I can do to get quicker updates ?

I have perhaps a similar use case. My solution was to trigger the extactor fan by both a sonoff humidity sensor and a water leak sensor in the shower. When testing the humidity sensor I used two sonoff sensors with different drivers to see which one updated more quickly. I settled on the "Tuya Temperature Humidity Illuminance LCD Display With a Clock" driver.

It's not immediate but the Extractor activates quite soon after the shower activates at above 70% rh. The sensor is above the door.

If someone knows of a quicker solution then I would also be interested.

I have Aqualisa showers fitted. These were 'hardwired' in my loft space.
I installed a socket, fitted a plug to the Aqualisa shower mains lead and then plugged it in to a zigbee Salus outlet that measures power consumption.
As soon as the power draw level is above a certain value, which means the shower is on, a rule turns on the extractor fan.
I have a humidity sensor also fitted in the shower room and the extractor fan continues to run when the shower is off until humidity drops below a certain level.
Off course this is only a viable solution if you have a power type shower and you can install a power measuring module.

I'm not sure if this would work with your setup but thought I'd mention my set up in case you can do something similar.

I have both the switchbot meters and the sonof SNZB-02 and found them to be very reliable and accurate and each giving very similar humidity readings. Also used a Tuya humidity sensor but found it to be less reliable and readings not consistent with other two sensors.
EDIT: above should read SONOFF SNZB-02D
I have a whole house ventilation unit, and boost mode is activated when humidity is >=65% by turning on switch via a fingerbot/switchbot device.

I have the sonoff, snzb-02 which works great. However I’ve bought the new version 02p and I’m struggling to get it working at all. Using original for the whole house extraction too!!

That's interesting, I wasn't aware there was a new version (snzb-02p)
Looking at the specs it claims to update every 5 seconds, so could be really good for my needs.
I will see if I can get hold of one and give it a test.
Let me know if you get it working.
