HUE Hub "already exists" messages repeating

I also started seeing this in the logs for my Hue hub after I updated recently. Thoughts?

Go to devices > Hue Bridge > device details

Disable debug logging.

[Edit] Never mind. I just noticed it's coming from the app, not the driver. I'm getting them too.

I’m seeing those messages as well.

Just ignore them, we'll see if we can de spam it...

Been a little busy with life but yesterday when I got home my HUE devices weren't working. I went into the app and completed the "discovery" much like I first did by hitting the button on my HUE bridge. Then everything started working again. Then again this morning I noticed something is still "not right" by not right I mean I have two bulbs in a fixture in my pantry. I have a zigbee motion sensor in there (smartthings) and a very simple motion lighting rule turning both bulbs on/off at different dim levels by mode. No other rules touch those bulbs. This morning 1 of the two were turning on/off with the rule. I really didn't have time to play with it because well, kids/school/work. Something clearly not right with the HUE right now. When I have time I'll have to see if I can nail down exactly what's going on with logs.

ALSO, after I redid the "discovery" the logs above everyone is seeing went away.

I have also had to press the button on the Hue hub to relink to Hubitat multiple times. It will work for a random amount of time before my hue lights quit working again. Pressing the button on the Hue bridge fixes the problem until it decides it needs to be relinked again. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I thought I might have a bad Hue hub except for the fact that I have had no issues accessing my Hue light from the Hue app.

I think this is the 2nd time I've had to do that...of course when it happens you just think it's a freak thing. I also noticed one of those times my HUE hub showed up with it's MAC address in () and the next it now shows with an IP address in () next to it's name.

Sounds like you have not configured a static or reserved ip address for you Hue hub on your router...correct?
If so, when your IP address changes (totally dependent on your router) it will have to be resynced to the HE hub.
Long story short. Set a reserved IP for your Hue hub.

Yes I have...the IP you see listed is the reserved DHCP one. It always gets the same one.

I thought I had it set as reserved ip but it wasn’t. I will try that and hopefully that will fix it. Thank you!

I got a bunch of these after the update to 114. Rebooted the hub, they stopped.

This will be removed in an update soon. Clicking done out of the hue integration app should stop the discovery, if you left the hue bridge app open without clicking done, these messages would persist as bridge discovery continued to run.

When I hit done it took me into a loop. The only way to get out was hitting the button on the hue hub again which allowed me to hit done and go back.
