Hue Bulb Mystery

I have a "group" that includes two Hue bulbs. They are integrated via the built-in Hue integration app.

When I access the group from the UI everything works as expected. However, when the group is turned on from a rule (any of the Hubitat variants) one, the other or both of the Hue bulbs will turn on, then immediately turn off. All other devices in the group operate normally.

Once the group is turned on, the delinquent bulb can also be turned on either from the UI or by toggling the power switch.

I am mystified.

It is hard to know what is going on without additional details and logs. Check out this document for some troubleshooting tips!

You need to post your log and also screenshots of your rules. I am leaning toward rules.

Thanks and apologies for the tardy response. Family issues interrupted things.

I have attached a pdf file with various self-explanatory screenshots.

While the rule in question sets a time specific trigger, I used the "test action" feature this morning to create the various logs.

The Hue bulbs (cooktop side & sink side) work fine when activated from the Kitchen group switch. It is apparently only when a rule turns them on that they seem immediately to turn themselves off. And note, I have test with the other "rule" apps.

Very mysterious and I am curious as to what you think.

Thanks for your help.

Can you post earlier event logs? Beginning at the 11:42 mark? The one you posted doesn't have any of the logs from when the bulbs turned themselves back off.

That is strange, indeed. Mind importing the group in the Room Lighting? It will create a virtual device (activator device) that you can use it the same way as you are using the group.

May be a long shot, but if you use Alexa, confirm the "hunch" feature is off.
