Hue Bridge Integratiom Errors after power failure

I had a power failure in my house this morning. When power was restored, my Hubitat says it can't connect to my Hue Bridge. I am seeing HTTP 408 errors in the logs. I have rebooted the Hue Bridge and Hubitat and nothing has fixed it.

The Hue Bridge seems to be working fine on its own - if I open the Hue app on my phone, it connects and I can turn lights on and off. Just not through the Hubitat.

I'm at a loss. Anyone have any suggestions?

What platform version are you running? Check Settings > Hub Details to see.

The most likely cause is that the power outage caused the Hue Bridge to change IP addresses. If you didn't configure your integration for a static IP, it should eventually catch up, but setting a DHCP reservation on your router for the Bridge is one way to avoid this delay in the future. Other troubleshooting will depend on the answer to the above.

Omg I think that was it. Thank you so much. I don't know why I didn't think of that myself. :person_facepalming:

Glad you got it figured out!

If you feel like sharing, I'd still be curious for the above information in case there is anything that can help prevent this in the future (for you or others).

Sure!

Well, first of all, this exposed that I had completely forgotten to set up my Hue Bridge with a static IP. So that was the first thing I did. :upside_down_face:

Next, I went inside of the Hue Integration App -> Advanced Options, and then just ran through the process to "re-discover" the Hue Bridge.

That was really all I had to do. Once my brain started working again (lol) this whole process took like two minutes.

Robert was asking you to clarify what Hubitat version you are using (e.g. 2.4.0.151)

I'm on v2.4.0.151.
