just installed an enbrighton on/off switch, which is Z-Wave Plus LR though paired using non-LR. Hubitat automatically assigns the driver "Generic Z-Wave DT Binary Switch". Even though I see an Enbrightem GE Z-Wave Smart Switch in the list. Is this normal?
Whichever driver has the closest fingerprint match is the driver that will be selected. Can you control the device from the device page?
There are multiple models of "Enbrighten" switches and dimmers, and it's possible not all of them will work with the driver originally written for the models that were called this at the time.
The most important thing, as mentioned above while I was typing, is whether the driver does everything you need. If anything, the "DT" driver is probably a better choice since it will read configuration parameters from the device and offer them to you in the UI, whereas the Enbrighten drivers (and this is probably the biggest difference between them and the "Generic Z-Wave..." non-DT drivers) offer a few that were common to all models, at least at the time. Otherwise, commands should be about the same.
I wouldn't worry based on name alone, but if you're missing something, then something else compatible might be worth a try!
All I am interested in is a basic on and off functionality. And the DT drive does just fine with that.
