Hubitat stop working, need to be unplugged to start working

@support_team

My Hubitat device stops working almost weekly, need to unplug and replug it to start working, please help.

Can you define stops working a little? Are all automations not running, and no UI response; not able to get into the UI, or??? Additionally what color is the LED on the hub and can you access it via http://<hub IP address>:8081?

Can you get to yourhubip:8081 when it does down?

Do you have jumbo frames enabled on the network?

Have you done a soft reset?

the automation is definitely not working,
I'll double-check the color of the LEDon the hub,
I cannot access the hub through IP address

I have UniFi switch and gateway, I believe it's jumbo frame,

Turn off jumbo frames. They will crash the hub

The Jumbo frame is off, the hub is running now, I'll keep you posted when the hub is out

With the crashes I would restore from yesterday's backup to ensure that you don't have any corruption in your database

It did happen today morning. I cannot reach the hub, the LED is green, I'm going to turn it off and on again

could you reach the hub on 8081?

no

What do your logs have to say?

What hub model do you have? If you'd like, you can send me a private message along with your hub's MAC or id and I'd be glad to check to see if you are dealing with a hardware issue. Automation stopping is indicative of an issue larger than a network connectivity problem, Jumbo frames as others mentioned above would cause that, but you said you turned jumbo frames off. Are you using PoE to power the hub instead of the power supply that came with the hub?

the hub stopped working again today, I use the power supply that came with the hub

Sorry to hear that. Is your hub hard wired via Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi?
