Anyone else miss the kind of quick overview you can get from a video walk-thru?
I'm not missing the character acting of the past as much as having someone taking us through the highlights of new features. All ya need to see is a screen, maybe see a new device or two, and hear a voice-over.
The reason I bring this up is that over the course of the last three or so months there have been some significant updates and system changes that could benefit from some elaboration on the how & why users might want to take advantage of the improvements/changes.
Sure, some of this is a no-brainer for those that asked for the features, or are otherwise into the Hubitat discussions regularly.
But for many folk....
they may not know what they don't know
but might wanna know
to take advantage of the evolution of Hubitat
and we all know how overrated reading documentation is
I agree. Seems like a missed marketing avenue too, with all the new features that have been added lately. It is bound to pop up in someone's feed if they already watch videos about Smart home stuff.
It is surprising how unknown Hubitat still is in the larger world of smart home hubs. Hubitat fills a niche between HA complexity and other simpler to use pre-built hubs like SmartThings and Homey, but Hubitat is not the first thing to pop up if you search for smart home hubs.
