I have noticed when i launch the iphone app it crashes and then it works on relaunch. How does this get reported to the developers?
Have you tried un-installing and re-installing it?
I just installed it. Could it be a bug or am I the only one having the issue?
This can happen on even first time install. Not an exclusively Hubitat issue. Suggestion is to remove the app and download again. I'm on iPhone 15 with iOS 18.2 and I'm not experiencing a problem with the Hubitat app crashing.
I will give it a whirl
Same issue here. It’s been installed on my iPhone 11 for years. Recently, it crashes on first open but then opens after thet. Now, the app crashes everytime that I attempt to open. Using the old white icon app since it provides greeter functionality such as access to apps.
That's what was going on with mine. I deleted it and reinstalled and will see what happens.
I am getting this when I go to the dashboard on the app. My browser shows the dashboard just fine.
The app constantly crashes for me upon opening. I tried to reinstall the app but it still crashes. iPhone 11 on iOS 18.2.
Perhaps another clue as to what’s going on, if I access Hubitat through its IP via Chrome iOS, I can access it just fine but when I enter any data into a device field- say, changing the color temp of a bulb- Chrome complains that my data is not secure when transmitted. I’ve never had this issue before. If I try to access the hub via https, Chrome forces me to http. Maybe it’s unrelated but they both happened at the same time.
One more thing- the green icon Hubitat app opens fine but it certainly is not as capable as the traditional, legacy app. Either that or I haven’t figured out how to find the apps section, logs, hub settings such as z-wave, etc.
While the old app took shade for being relatively fugly, I’d suggest that active users likely grew accustomed to, and appreciated, its power despite the warts.

I have merged your duplicate (triplicate?) post into this one to keep everything in the same place.
It’s a different issue. The iphone app crashed when launched so i deleted and reinstalled.
After reinstalling, the dashboard doesn’t work.
I think we’ll need @moncho1138 for this one…
Do you have multiple hubs? Does re-selecting the correct/desired hub in the app, in any case, have any effect? (This is under the hub name on the Home tab.)
That was his first guess when I asked before.
I deleted and reinstalled the app for the 2nd time and it is working now. 3rd time is a charm.
It changed the token too
The app is crashing for me when it gets to "registering mobile device". Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, have changed the token, restarted everything, still doesn't work. Any solution?
The app isn’t displaying the correct state of switches between the devices and the dashboard as well.
