I have two hubs. Home and Shop.
I want to share a device so my Home hub sees it / can act on events from it.
On my Shop hub, I have shared a local device (settings / hub mesh / local devices).
It appears under the Shared Devices section in the Local Devices tab.
However, on my Home hub, under Linked Devices (settings / hub mesh / Linked Devices) I do NOT see the shared device.
Both hubs are on the same network (192.168.68.x).
Both hubs are running the latest build. (2.5.0.135)
Both hubs have been rebooted.
Any suggestions on what I am missing?

Don't know if relevant but I had this happen once. It was something in the driver that wouldn't allow the device to be shared on Hub mesh. This was several revisions ago. I switched the device to the HE default driver, it was using a user custom driver. Once I switched it to the HE driver I was able to share it, then after sharing I could switch it back to the custom driver and it stayed connected via hub mesh.
You don't say what the device is. Is it just this one device or is there more than one.
Something to try, if not already, switch to a HE standard driver, or just switch to a different driver and see if it shows up.

As a test, I picked about a dozen devices, all with the HE drivers. Not a single one showed up on the other hub.
(Other than share a device, am I supposed to do something else to the hub? Some sort of global setting I’m missing?)
Should go to local devices and share the ones you want. Here is that page from my shop which I share these devices with my home hubs.

On the general tab under settings>Active hubs do you see all your hubs listed?

If so, no, I don’t see other hubs. Could that be the issue?
Click disable then enable again then reboot. Make sure nothing is blocking mDNS on your network.
Yes and what @rlithgow1 said. All of your hubs should be listed there.
Thank you both. I checked my router to ensure that mDNS was not enabled (it was not).
I disabled, rebooted, enabled, rebooted, and it finally worked. (It took multiple tries and it finally showed the other hub).
Not sure what I was doing wrong / why it didn’t show up initially, but it seems to be working. Now to test with a device.

My router / WiFi (Deco) does not have an option to set it. (I may have misspoke, I’m not sure if it’s on or off, but regardless, it’s all working now as expected. A device connected to my home hub is now able to control devices via an event, on my shop hub.).
