Hubitat HomeKit Controller and Meross MSG200HK garage door opener

Does anyone know if I can pair the MSG200HK with Hubitat using the Hubitat HomeKit Controller? Then have it sent back to Apple Home via HomeKit Bridge?

It'll need a driver. @mitchjs wrote a Hubitat driver for the Homekit-paired ratgdo32, and you may be able to use his driver as a start to code one for your opener.

Just in case it helps, I've linked to his driver below:

There is a built-in "HomeKit Garage Door" driver that would likely work. I don't know what specific devices it was tested against, but HomeKit is pretty clearly defined, so it's likely, or it should just be a matter of working with staff to figure out what's different in this case if not.

Do note that you need a C-8 Pro hub to run the HomeKit Controller integration.

To answer the other part of your question, it should also be possible to share this device out to Apple Home via the HomeKit Bridge integration.

is a MSG200HK, just a RATGDO?
my driver doesn't actually require HomeKit! (i dont use that apple thing, my home runs on Hubitat!)

No idea if it’s ratgdo or not. I’m trying to figure out a backdoor method to get my new security 3.0 GDOs away from MyQ.

My whole house uses Hubitat as a back end but I use Apple home as my software front end.

AFAIK, third-party products don’t work with Security 3.0.

At least ratgdo/konnected don’t. Recently, I had to search very hard to find two older, unused liftmaster GDOs that support Security 2.0

Correct, nothing currently works with security 3.0 but I found this and you can use a dry contact relay on the other side that will simulate the button press.

So I paired the MSG200HK to Apple Home then removed the device from Apple Home. I started the Hubitat Homekit Controller and found the MSG200HK on the network and successfully paired it. The strange thing is when I go to add a new device from a Bridge, the only new item I am seeing is Bond Home (which I do not have). The MSG200HK is Meross. I'm not sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
