Alrighty! You have mentioned something that reminds me of a question I have. Alexa allows for non-verbose answers. "Alexa, open the garage door." Alexa response is a ding, or a "dah-dump" sound. Is there a way to make Siri less "chatty"? "On it... opening the garage door" or "Turning on the front porch lights!" is, to me, annoying.

On my phone there is a setting to make it only talk if you started with "Hey Siri", I assume with this enabled if you activate by holding the button down, then it wont talk back. Its under Siri & Search > Siri Responses.
The three choices given still have Siri response being chatty. I think I'll give Apple support a ring and see what they have to say. Thanks!
