So I'm trying to figure out why I'm getting bogus locative requests to my new (old) C-7 hub and I'm trying to seach for "locative" here in the community site. It doesn't find it, even though I know there are a lot of mentions of locative here. Is search broken?
Interesting. Yes, it works if I put locative in double quotes. I've never needed to do that before. Is this normal?
The difference between searching with quotation marks vs. without is that the former is looking for exact text whereas the latter is searching broadly within phrases, related terms and general concepts, which may not be what you are after. If you are looking for a specific phrase or word, quotation marks would target that only.

Hmmm. I get that. You would think that with a one word search at least some of the results would be related to or contain that word. OK. Well, thanks @bobbyD
That's exactly what you are getting "related concepts"...Locative >> location >> a million posts for "location"
