Hubitat cheat sheet

I created the following cheat sheet because if i don’t add a new device in some time i find myself googling things again when i go to add a new device. I tried to make it as simple and clean as i could. I just post here so if you have a similar problem, this may help next time!

Launch HUBITAT

-Tools
-Registered hubs

-Connect to hubs (192.168.0.__)
-Devices
-Discover (upper right of page)
-Start pairing

-Choose Zigbee or Zwave here and apply.

-Then go ADD THE NEW DEVICE to DASHBOARD

-APPS:

-Dashboard (In the GREY area, choose device)
-Turn ON the newly added device
-Update
-Done

Then ADD THE BUTTON to DASHBOARD:

-DASHBOARD
-click +
-Pick Device
-Pick Template
-Click Add tile

Check Device Operation
-Then go ADD THE NEW DEVICE to DASHBOARD

One more step I'd add at this point. Check Device Operation

Device Page add Device. Using Dashboard Drop-Down

Yes, that's the end goal. But it's a little bit of a disjointed process. (For me ) After you've added your new device and checked it's working properly on it's device page. Go from the Device Page, to the App Page, to the Dashboard list, to the desired Dashboard; then add the new device for use with that Dashboard.
