Hello:
I am making some Basic Rules to handle some MHCozy relays to control irrigation on some new grass.
I want to run a few sprinkles 4 times a day for 10 minutes each time.
I can make a Basic Rule app that turns on a device at a specific time then I can either...
a) click "Add another action" and select wait", or
b) click "Add Wait Until" and pick "Elapsed time."
Here are the 2 different methods I am using...
When Time of Day is 07:00 ...
Turn on Cozy Relay #3 (Front #1)
Wait 10 minutes
Turn off Cozy Relay #3 (Front #1)
Wait 240 minutes

It feels like I will get the same results no matter which way I go, but which one is better?
Is one method more stable then the other?
Does one use more Hubitat resources them the other?
Ideally, I'd like to make a simple rule to turn on the sprinkler, wait 10 minutes, then turn it off, then nest that inside another rule that calls it every 4 hours or so.
Thanks for any advice,
Mark.
