Hubitat app for Garmin watches

I haven't published it yet. I'll post a link here when it's available.

I've submitted the app to the Garmin Connect store. The current working title is "HubWatch for Hubitat Home Automation (Beta)" (a bit of a mouthful).
Apparently approval could take up to 3 days. This is my first Garmin app so I don't know what that process is like in reality.
The app currently supports the following devices (some of these I've only been able to test via the Connect IQ simulator):

  • Approach S70
  • Edge 1030
  • Edge 530
  • Enduro 2
  • Forerunner 55
  • Forerunner 965
  • fenix 7X
  • tactix 7
  • Vivoactive 4

I'll post again when I've news of its availability (or otherwise).

Let me know how you get on.

:crossed_fingers:

so far not showing in my search

needs to show fenix 7 pro not just fenix 7x

How long should I expect it to sign in? It takes forever unless I'm using the wrong URL

Ok, l'll add Fenix 7 pro.

It takes around a second or two.
Both the URL and token need to be correct (maybe I can add some more checking).
You need to use the cloud URL, rather than the local one.

Still not seeing it for fenix 7 pro

Sorry about that. I've been busy with the day job and haven't had a chance to change it yet. I'll aim to update it tonight. I don't know how long the re-approval will take.

It might be available now for the Fenix 7 pro.

Ok found app thanks installed configured.

But app just hangs on conecting.

Nothing in hub logs from maker api.

Try adding a "/" at the very end of the URL, if there isn't one there already.
I assume it starts with "https://cloud.hubitat.com/api/..."

Thanks. That was it works now!!!!

Very happy to hear that. Shows I could do with adding some checking in the app.

Just dumped the old app i used api somthing. Where i had to input ever url... very tedious.

Now i need to get u my wifes model. She'll probably never use it. But more chance than going to a dashboard. maybe to open a garage door or unlock a door in a pinch.

You hold the power @user5177 .... hold onto it as long as you can....
