Hubitat and Home Assistant device integration

I recently bought an Aqara Wireless Mini Switch and was able to add it to my Hubitat hub. It uses a custom driver which I imported just fine. The button press is registering just fine in the logs in the Hubitat hub as well.

The issue is that it's not showing up in my hosted HA environment.

Things I've tried:
Updates for both platforms (HA/Hub)
Full reboots for both
Re-configured the hubitat integration

When I go to reconfigure in HA, it should show up an additional device but it's the same list.

So I'm stuck at what to do at this point. Has anyone had this problem?

All you need to do on the Hubitat side, is to select the switch in your Maker API. Other than that, the issue is likely on the other side.

I’m not familiar with the particular Aqara device, but one simple workaround is to create a basic rule that toggles a virtual switch when the Aqara switch is activated.

Share the virtual switch with HA via Maker API, instead of the actual Aqara switch.

Unfortunately assumed this would be the case, but just had to see if anyone here had an issue as well.

Oh nice, I didn't realize you could do that. I will try to figure that out, thank you!
