Hubitat:Alexa losing connection periodicaly

I have a C7 (current firmware, but this has happened on several versions now). Periodically, Alexa loses its ability to control Hubitat devices, and instead says they are not responding. Rebooting the hub fixes this, but because it’s random, I would really like to isolate the cause. I did have my Hubitat rebooting nightly, however several months ago that started causing issues where it would lock up and not come back online.

Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting? My C7 has a static IP.

I also noticed over the last few days that my C5 at current version, was having the same issue. I was not able to control devices with my voice or through the Alexa app. Rebooting the hub did fix the problem. Before rebooting the hub, I had tried removing and then re-adding devices to the Alexa skill, but that made no difference.

Same problem here with C8 hub.

Make sure that:

  1. Your hub has cloud access
  2. Your hub has access to functional DNS servers.

I manually set the dns today on the hub to 1.1.1.1 instead of my router IP. Never had a problem with other network devices but I’m willing to give it a try. Having to reboot every 3-4 days when Alexa stops working is rather annoying. Devices work via the hub and home bridge at all times. Wondering if this is an Alexa token issue based on logs.
