Hub unresponsive unable to soft reset

My hub (new C8 Pro) worked well through yesterday and suddenly has become unresponsive without any change to programming.

Diagnostic tool cannot access it.

Accessing it via "Advanced Discovery" using MacID shows the device connected as 192.168.1.56, but this IP address is completely unresponsive, either through "find my hub" or directly through browser. Dashboards also not accessible.

Can you see the MAC from your router or arp -a from the command line?
