I have 2 hubs, both with fixed local IPs-one a C8 another a C7 . Logging into the C7 is fast and reliable. The C8 constantly hangs while contacting with the IP address, notably with an ipad or iphone. It is somewhat better with a computer on the ethernet.
I have seen @bertabcd1234 recommend in these cases to toggle Network Speed in Network settings to a specific speed (like 100mbs) , if it is currently set on auto, or set it to auto if it currently has a speed selected.
I've never needed to try it, but it seems to have fixed the problem for other people.
