I have a C8 Hub that has 338 devices on it, many of which are from Apps/Integrations or other Virtual Devices used for aggregation. In total I have about 30 Z-Wave and 31 Zigbee devices which control lights, report status on temperature, water sensors, etc. I have been trying to pull in every device in the house into Hubitat as it then allows notifications or graphing via Watchtower, etc which helps me keep tabs on all that is going on. In all - works great!
As I've loaded up the device, I've noticed I now live with ~130M of free memory - which based on other comments/threads is getting into an area of concern, so I've purchased a C8 Pro and was thinking that rather than just migrating - I'd run in Mesh mode to scale out and distribute the load.
This brings up the question - what have people found for best practices around this? Especially as not every app/driver I have is in HPM, I'm curious on ways to keep things in sync or even initially make sure that the appropriate drivers are moved over to the new C8 Pro.
Ideally, I'd move all of my Z-Wave to the C8 Pro as it has newer capabilities in that area, and some of my more intensive integrations (Home Assistant - which is where I import all of my solar panels from).
Thoughts? Ideas?
