Hub has been running just fine till i updated to the latest firmware
Since then, maker api has been running at 98% β it basically the only app running
Now i constantly get the "severe load" error, with zigbee radio shutting off
Any suggestions?
I've been seeing elevated load for quite a while now, but can't pin it on any one thing as of yet, I haven't spent the time to understand where exactly my issues are. There are a couple of candidates, but nothing I would want to propose as a cause.
I would suggest rolling back to the prior version, if you were seeing "normal" load prior to the upgrade. That should get you back to a manageable state while any issues are sorted out.
I notice you make mention of using Maker API with Node RED. You may also want to check whether there are any delays in the processing of data in NR, that may consume resources on the HE end, depending on how the calls are made to post data to NR.
Donβt confuse 98% of busy with overall load. If it were 98% of total (instead of 3%), Iβd say say that it was the problem, but given your current stats Iβd say the issue lies elsewhere. Also at 3 minutes of uptime your percentages donβt mean much if anything/
Thanks. I'll keep an eye on the % of total
Seemed very odd, it crashed a few times since updating
In saying that, has been ok the last hour or so! Time will tell
Also, look at your device stats. Are there any devices using a large % of total? If there are any, are those taking a long time to execute? While I've never had any problems, I have seen others with misbehaving "Z" devices and/or LAN devices not communicating correctly experiencing elevated loads.
